HIQChainDropone-sheet

Put your music on the blockchain itself.

Not a link to your track. Not a token that points at it. The actual audio, inscribed on-chain — streamable by anyone you send the link to, no wallet needed to listen. For about the price of a coffee.

Why this is a first

● The audio lives on-chain

Every "on-chain music" platform before this — Audius, Royal, Catalog — stored the audio off-chain (IPFS, Amazon) and only put a token or receipt on the chain. When the company died, the music died with it.

● The platform is disposable

ChainDrop inscribes the real audio bytes into the chain's permanent transaction history. Your song doesn't depend on our servers staying alive. The platform is disposable — your music isn't.

The breakthrough that makes it possible

What a full track costs to store on-chain: the old way vs. ChainDrop
Storing audio on Solana…per MBper GB
The normal way (account storage)~$875~$900,000
ChainDrop (IQ Code-In inscription)~$0.42~$430

IQ's Code-In tech writes your audio into ledger/calldata instead of rent-bearing account state — roughly 2,000× cheaper. That's the only reason putting a whole song on-chain is even affordable. A typical 3–4 min track inscribes for ~$2 (Solana) or ~$5 (Robinhood Chain). Figures move with token prices; approximate.

How it works for you
Drop your track — an mp3 (128kbps recommended). See the exact cost live before you pay.
Pay once with your wallet — the tiny inscription cost + a $1 platform fee, on Solana or Robinhood Chain. One signature.
Your track is inscribed on-chain — permanently, provably yours, in a couple of minutes.
Get a shareable link — send it anywhere. Anyone can play, download, and rate it (1–10). No wallet, no app, no sign-up to listen.

Straight talk: ChainDrop is the first music platform built on truly on-chain audio (Bitcoin Ordinals had one-off audio first). "Permanent" means inscribed in the chain's transaction history & served via archive/gateway — far more durable than an IPFS pin, retrieved byte-for-byte.
